Preferred Chiropractic Doctor (PCD)
This is a chiropractic sponsored membership program for non-insurance patients and practices. This is the largest such program for chiropractic care in America, and it was founded by fourth generation DC's. There are no annual fees for the practitioner. However, there is a patient annual fee of $30 per person or $45 for family. The participating doctor's office receives free initial promotional materials, and agrees toa reduction of at least 25% from their customary fee schedule. Interestingly, this nominal discount is less than what many offices already offer without a formalized and promotional program. In essence, the patient simply joins a discount club.
